Katharina Haverich | Director, Performer, Project Coordinator

Short stay in Zurich from 2001-02 to study acting at the European Film Actor School, 2002-05 Bachelor of Arts in "Theatre and Professional Practice" at Coventry University in England. 2005-07 assistant director at Thalia Theater and project assistant at Kampnagel in Hamburg. 2007, internship with The Wooster Group in New York City and assistant costume coordinator for the United Artists production "Valkyrie". From 2007, dramaturgic collaboration with filmmaker Arto Sebastian Buhmann. 2008-2011 intern, assistant, coordinator for the international performing arts festival IN TRANSIT and the BERLIN DOCUMENTARY FORUM at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. At Haus der Kulturen der Welt assistant for: Tania Bruguera, Nevin Aladag, Okwui Enwezor, Omer Fast und Züli Aladag.
2010, performer in "Dr. Faustus" by Emilio García Wehbi and Maricel Álvarez at Akademie der Künste in Berlin and Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas in Buenos Aires; DAAD scholarship (German Academic Exchange Service). 2011, Master of Arts in Theatre Studies at Freie Universität Berlin and performer in "M.31, K.62, K.85" by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and Ari Benjamin Meyers at Hebbel am Ufer Theater in Berlin.

Works: "The Wedding" at The Glass House gallery in Coventry, England (2004), "Kleines Familienspiel" ("Little Family Game") at Thalia in der Gaußstraße in Hamburg (2006), "Männersache" ("Men's Business") by Franz Xaver Kroetz at Engelbrot Theater / Brotfabrik (2008), transformation project "Neue Blonde Frau" ("New Blond Woman") (2009).

Arto Sebastian Buhmann | Director, Producer
Arto worked for Telemaz Commercials in Hamburg for one year. He went on to assisting for the "Tatort" in Kiel and the ZDF production "Schuld und Unschuld". For the SFX department of the United Artists production of "Valkyrie" he worked as the assistant coordinator and organised a team of 20 members of staff.
Following this, Arto worked as an assistant director at various theatres (e.g. Thalia Theater Hamburg and Stadttheater Jena) and for a number of short and degree films. Aside from short films and theatre plays, Arto produced two music videos and an installation piece for a congress event.
He directed seven of his own short films.
Since 2007, Arto is the managing director of Die GENERALE Film + Performance.
In 2009, he took up studying Directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
